Obama '08 [Obama '08]

I find it highly amusing that my Obama t-shirt has multiple purposes:

1. Outright declaration of my support for Mr. Obama
   
2. Protective clothing (long-sleeved so helps to prevent a farmer's tan during the day and keeps me reasonably warm when it's cooler out)
3. Perfect for layers
4. Wonderful conversation piece across all ages

And that last part is absolutely true because I get stopped on the street or random people will just start chanting Obama '08 while I'm eating at a restaurant. My colleagues here will ask about Obama and what I think about Bush & McCain -- it's all good fun, really.

The only weird encounter I had was with a Malawian friend of a friend (FoF):

FoF: Oh, Obama supporter, huh?
Hana: Of course! I wouldn't be wearing it otherwise, right?
FoF: But why? Why not Hillary?
Hana: Why are you for Hillary?
FoF: Oh no, I'm a McCain supporter.
Hana: ...

And the conversation pretty much ended there.
